“I don’t really worry about that. I just want to prove myself,” Fields said. “I know what kind of player I am. I’ve trained for this my whole life. At the end of the day, my teammates help me be great. To be honest, I just feel good to be in this position.”
While Fields was best known for his ground production in Chicago, his efficiency through the air this season has been remarkable. The 25-year-old has completed 73.3 percent of his passes for 518 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception.
“I’ve made a lot of progress over the last year and the last few months, so I feel a lot more confident on the field,” Fields continued. “It means a lot to me, but at the end of the day, it’s not just me winning games. I’m just happy to be a part of this team, this organization. I’m really looking forward to continuing that momentum against Indy.”
