The Cleveland Browns placed Pro Bowl guard Wyatt Teller on injured reserve Wednesday. The move will keep Teller out of action for at least the next four games for the Browns (1-2). Teller injured his knee in the third quarter of Cleveland’s 21-15 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. While head coach Kevin Stefanski initially informed reporters that Teller had been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders (1-2), he did not do the same for All-Pro pass rusher Myles Garrett (Achilles, thigh, foot). Garrett, 28, has two sacks and two forced fumbles this season. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year and five-time Pro Bowl selection has totaled 90.5 sacks in his career. Teller, 29, started 78 of 86 games for the Browns and Buffalo Bills (2018), making three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2021-23. Also Wednesday, the Browns signed tackle Germain Ifedi to the active roster from the practice squad. Ifedi, 30, has played in two games with Cleveland this season. He has started 83 of 104 career games in which he has appeared with four teams since being selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 31st overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Browns also signed tackles Sebastian Gutierrez and Ricky Lee III and defensive end Elerson Smith to the practice squad and released linebacker Luiji Vilain from the practice squad. –Field Level Media
