BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) – The Cleveland Browns elevated cornerback Tony Brown II and tight end Geoff Swaim from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.
Brown made his Cleveland debut in the Browns’ Week 3 loss to the Giants. He caused a fumble on the kickoff. He is in his seventh season in the NFL at Alabama.
Browns was originally signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He has appeared in 61 career games with the Packers (2018-19), Bengals (2020-21), Colts (2022-23 ) and the Browns (2024). He recorded 58 career tackles and one interception, while adding 19 career tackles on special teams.
Swaim also made his Cleveland debut against New York this past Sunday. He is in his 10th season in the NFL coming out of Texas. Originally selected by Dallas in the seventh round in 2015, Swaim has played in 101 career games with 65 starts with the Cowboys (2015-18), Jaguars (2019), Titans (2020-22), Cardinals (2023) and Browns (2024). ).
He recorded 110 career receptions for 846 yards and six touchdowns.
The Browns and Raiders kick off Sunday at 4:25 p.m. on WKBN-27.
