The shield is the iconic NFL logo. Each of the 32 teams has a logo, too. Some are incredible, others classic, and some have outlived their usefulness. Time for a change? Unlikely.
Here’s our NFL Team Logo rankings for the 2024 season …
32. Washington Commanders
ASHBURN, VA – MARCH 17: A view of a Washington Commanders logo on display during a press conference to introduce quarterback Carson Wentz at Inova Sports Performance Center on March 17, 2022 in Ashburn, Virginia. (Photo by Scott Taetsch/Getty Images)
Would seem to be a good thing the nickname Commanders and the logo “W” seem to be temporary.
31. Los Angeles Rams

Honestly looks more like LAC for Los Angeles Chargers than Los Angeles Rams.
30. Cleveland Browns

A classic but basic and has tough competition with other more stylish logos.
29. Green Bay Packers
Green Bay resident Charlie Nitka raked his fall leaves into a Packers logo in his front yard. Gpg Packerslogoyard 092820 Sk23
Iconic and rich with tradition is the G for Green Bay.
28. New York Giants

The NY lettering works better for the Yankees than it does for the Giants. Another team that has been around forever, has great history and a logo that stands the test of time.
27. New York Jets
Oct 9, 2021; London, England, United Kingdom; The logos of the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons are seen during an NFL International Series Game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
The logo doesn’t speak to a team flying anywhere, especially in the standings. That is probably a good thing considering how poor the team has played through time.
26. Atlanta Falcons

This one pops much more when it is on the old-school helmet for throwback games. The bird is sharp but also a bit too slender to be scary.
25. Cincinnati Bengals
Feb 9, 2022; Los Angeles, CA, USA; A Cincinnati Bengals logo is seen at the Grove. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
The uniforms lend themselves more toward fantastic fashion than the logo, which doesn’t give it enough room to roar.
24. Indianapolis Colts

Classic and cool. This one while not atop the logo list works well.
23. Jacksonville Jaguars
A logo hangs during the seventh day of an NFL football training camp practice Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at EverBank Stadium’s Miller Electric Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
One angry cat. Probably is still upset over the way the team played in 2023.
22. Minnesota Vikings

Love the way the colors work together. The Vikings represent power and the logo goes the trick.
21. Kansas City Chiefs

The lightning bolt is electric. Like it better on the helmets with the incomparable power blue and yellow unis.
19. Miami Dolphins

18. Tennesee Titans

A modernistic logo. This one has multiple meanings that probably resonate more with the people in Tennessee than around the country. Chances are Titans fans are the only ones who would know what this setup means.
17. Chicago Bears

A great blend of the Lone Star State and a touch of an animal or something like it that reps Texas. Well done.
13. Detroit LIons
The Detroit Lions logo is shown before they pick Missouri cornerback Ennis Rakestraw on Friday, April 26, 2024 in the main theater for the second day of the NFL Draft in Detroit.

12. Pittsburgh Steelers

The logo speaks to Pittsburgh, the team’s rich history and the love of the fans. A nice touch that does not need to be touched up
11. Denver Broncos

10. San Francisco 49ers
Aug 29, 2021; Santa Clara, California, USA; A detailed view of the San Francisco 49ers helmet logo at midfield at Levi’s Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
One of the best classic looks belongs to the 49ers. The work in the helmet with the color pattern is iconic.
9. Philadelphia Eagles

The anger in the face of the Eagle could be a reason why some of the team’s fans bring the hostility to the Linc.
8. Seattle Seahawks

Sleek and fierce. The Seahawks’ logo works and looks great when painted on the field.
7. Arizona Cardinals

3. Buffalo Bills

What better way to symbolize the Buffalo than with one looking like it is about to take off and run over and through you. Sharp colors and a great logo.
2. Dallas Cowboys

1. Las Vegas Raiders

If there is a logo that marries the team’s name with its attitude, none is better than the Raiders. The best there is.
