The NFL had four teams off in Week 5 and that changed some things, but who comes out of the week as the better team? It’s still the Minnesota Vikings, who went to London and beat the Jets. The Kansas City Chiefs remained undefeated.
How does the rest of the league stack up?
We have the Week 6 power rankings below.
1. Minnesota Vikings (no changes)
The Vikings knocked out Aaron Rodgers three times and remained undefeated. The Chiefs are on their heels and they may not be able to hold on, but they keep rolling.
2. Kansas City Chiefs (+2)
They have won 12 straight games since last season. They just keep finding ways to win. Monday night, there was Kareem Hunt and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Patrick Mahomes has thrown an interception in every game this season, so that needs to change.
3. Baltimore Ravens (no changes)
The Ravens found their rhythm offensively. Wow. Four touchdown passes from Lamar Jackson.
4. Houston Texans (+2)
They picked up a tough win against Buffalo and did it without Joe Mixon and with Nico Collins injured.
5. Detroit Lions (-3)
They were bye and the Chiefs, Ravens and Texans all had great games to get past them.
6. Washington Commanders (+8)
People are talking MVP for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels after he led the Commanders to 34 points and another win.
7. Buffalo Bills (-2)
They lost twice in a row, although it was a hard-fought loss to Houston.
8. Atlanta Falcons (+5)
Kirk Cousins lit up Tampa Bay for over 500 yards in the overtime victory, and it appears the offense has found its rhythm. Attention.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1)
Boy, did they play a good game and still get smoked by Cousins. Baker Mayfield is having a season. The NFC South is much more interesting than expected.
10. Green Bay Packers (-1)
Jordan Love had a pick against the Rams but threw two TD passes to Tucker Kraft.
11. San Francisco 49ers (-3)
They lost their kicker and then the game against the Cardinals, who had been smoked by Washington the week before.
12. Pittsburgh Steelers (-5)
They struggled offensively against the Cowboys.
13. Los Angeles Chargers (-2)
They were victims of being goodbye.
14. Dallas Cowboys (+7)
It’s a bit of a course correction, but they beat Pittsburgh without Micah Parsons.
15. Philadelphia Eagles (no change)
They were goodbye and were neither helped nor harmed.
16. Seattle Seahawks (-4)
Well, they went and lost to the Giants. Eww.
17. New Orleans Saints (-1)
They failed to stay close to the Chiefs and Derek Carr is injured.
18. Denver Broncos (+2)
The defense was good. Now they score more than 30 points? Or maybe it was just because they were playing the Raiders.
19. Chicago Bears (+3)
Caleb Williams is starting to look like the No. 1 pick now that he’s learned how to throw the ball to DJ Moore.
20. New York Jets (-3)
Has Aaron Rodgers finally started playing like his age? Or was it against the Vikings in England?
They got smoked by the Commanders in Week 4, were down 13 at halftime and came back and beat the Niners, forcing three takeaways.
22. Los Angeles Rams (+1)
They moved up a spot because they were competitive with the Packers.
23. Indianapolis Colts (-5)
They ended up being a good game for the Jaguars, giving up 37 points.
24. Cincinnati Bengals (-5)
The offense isn’t the problem, but Lou Anarumo’s defense is a problem right now.
25. Jacksonville Jaguars (+1)
Did they run the offense right after beating the Colts?
26. Las Vegas Raiders (-2)
Gardner Minshew was on the bench and Aidan O’Connell came in and was knocked out. It’s fun.
27. New York Giants (+1)
They are now 2-3. Daniel Jones had an excellent game against the Seahawks. Have they found their new running back in Tyrone Tracy?
28. Cleveland Browns (-1)
Their offense is just plain bad and Deshaun Watson doesn’t look like a guy who should be starting at quarterback right now.
29. Tennessee Titans (no change)
They didn’t get beat during the bye week.
30. Miami Dolphins (no change)
They won, but it was just a win against the Patriots.
31. Carolina Panthers (no changes)
See? Andy Dalton was not the answer. Get back down, Bryce Young.
32. New England Patriots (no change)
They really don’t want to play Drake Maye behind that terrible offensive line.
