GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Packers will host a home game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and some Packers fans are making quite the trip to watch the game.
Even on the Friday before games, you’ll still see fans roaming Titletown and Lambeau Field in Packers gear as they eagerly await the Packers’ return home on Sunday.
Packers fans are also looking forward to the return of Romeo Doubs, Jaire Alexander and Christian Watson against the Cardinals, saying the momentum would continue to build after their road win against the Rams, if they can bring back some of those stars on the field. field.
The Lambeau game experience is one that all Packers fans look forward to and every time Lambeau hosts a game, it seems to attract fans from all over the country.
One fan we spoke with made a 12-hour drive from South Dakota to Green Bay just to attend her annual Packer game this Sunday.
“Where we come from, you’re either a Broncos fan or something else, and we couldn’t cheer for the Broncos, so we come to a game every year, sometimes we fly, this time we drove our RV, and it’s a nice area, we love Green Bay, the fans here are awesome,” Pam Scherr, a South Dakota Packers.
Sunday’s game will be the first of two back-to-back games at Lambeau Field, as the Houston Texans come to play on October 20.
There will be another time the Packers play back-to-back home games this season, when the 49ers and Dolphins come to town five days apart Thanksgiving week.
