Browns Running back Nick Chubb is expected to make his season debut when the Cincinnati Bengals visiting Cleveland in NFL Week 7, according to a reporting from Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
The Browns designated Chubb to return from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list on October 3, meaning he has a 21-day practice window, allowing NFL teams to leave players inactive practice before adding them to the active list.
The Browns have until Oct. 23 to activate Chubb or keep him on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.
Chub was a limited participant during Browns practice last week.
When Chubb was forced out in September 2023 with a season-ending knee injury during the second quarter of the Browns’ Monday Night Football loss at Pittsburgh, Cleveland turned to the former United star Cincinnati Bearcats Jerome Ford to carry the running back load.
Chubb had at least 100 rushing yards in six of the ten games he played against the Bengals.
