Divisional matchups across the NFL have resulted in small posts on social media.
THE Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the New Orleans Saints. THE Indianapolis Colts narrowly beat the Tennessee Titans. And Thursday, San Francisco 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks on the road.
But it was a non-divisional clash that led the way in Week 6.
THE Detroit Lions dominated the hostDallas Cowboyscruising towards a 47-9 victory. Detroit’s offense totaled 492 yards, while its defense forced five turnovers. The 47 points are the most Dallas has ever allowed in a game in which it did not score a touchdown, according to ESPN Research.
If that huge win wasn’t enough, the Lions trolled the Cowboys with a simple response to the team’s pregame message.

The Buccaneers left no doubt about their victory against the Saints.
Tampa Bay outscored New Orleans 27-0 in the second half and compiled a total of 594 yards of offense. Mayfield Baker threw for 325 yards plus four touchdowns and three interceptions – the Buccaneers are the third team since 2000 to score 50 points despite three interceptions, according to ESPN Research.
Tampa Bay had a simple troll aimed at its division rivals, referencing lyrics from Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh to show fans of the Buccaneers taking over the Caesars Superdome. They also released a video of Mayfield silencing the home crowd.
With Joe Flacco Back at center, the Colts picked up their third win in four games and first in the division.
The Titans had a chance to win the game when they received the ball with 22 seconds remaining. But their lateral attempt failed. Flacco threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns, whileWill Levistotaled only 95 passing yards with one touchdown, and they had one interception each.
Indianapolis opted for a “Music City” theme for its troll in Tennessee.
THE Houston Texans spoiledDrake MayeIt was his first career start, jumping out to a 14-0 lead and never looking back.
THE New England Patriots the quarterback threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns, but also had two interceptions and a lost fumble in his debut. CJ Stroud totaled 192 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Houston trolled New England on several occasions, including a variation of a famous scene from “Good Will Hunting,” which takes place in Boston. The Texans also captioned their post with the phrase “do your job” from former Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
THE Los Angeles Chargers didn’t miss a beat after the bye week, hanging on to beat the Denver Broncos on the road.
The Broncos scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late. The win ended Los Angeles’ two-game losing streak and Denver’s three-game winning streak. Justin Herbert threw for a season-high 237 yards plus a touchdown, while Bo Nix totaled 216 passing yards and two scores.
The Chargers used a video of someone threatening to throw a water balloon at a child to troll the Broncos.
After a close defeat against the Dallas CowboysTHE Pittsburgh Steelers comfortably defeated the Las Vegas Raiders.
Pittsburgh had its highest scoring game of the season with 32 points and a total of 293 yards. The Steelers also forced three turnovers, including two fumbles caused by TJ Watt. Justin Fields threw for 145 yards and ran for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
There were a lot of trolls after the Steelers game. First, they used the phrase “just win, baby” coined by famous Raiders owner Al Davis, then mocked Allegiant Stadium for looking like a Roomba vacuum cleaner.
Sunday game or not, the 49ers still made sure to make fun of the Seahawks after their victory.
San Francisco racked up 483 total offensive yards and forced three turnovers in a complete game. The result puts both teams at 3-3 and tied for first place in the NFC West.
The 49ers mocked the Seahawks’ home “Lumen Field” in their postgame troll.
