    Tennessee Titans vs. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions return to the friendly confines of Ford Field today after two straight road games and look to make it five straight wins when they host the Tennessee Titans.

Here are five things to watch for today in this interconference matchup:

    1. The offense faces a good test

Tennessee may be 1-5, but it’s certainly not a 1-5 defense. The Titans rank first in the NFL in total defense and third against the pass. Unlike last week against Minnesota, it’s not so much the scheme that Ben Johnson and Co. have to worry about this week with the Titans but rather the personnel. This Titans defense has plenty of talent at all three levels.

“It might be the best we’ve seen all year,” Johnson said this week of Tennessee’s defense. “They’re violent, they’re physical, they finish, and when you see a team that plays two-two as much as they do and yet is able to stop every running game they face, we already know we we have our work waiting for us.”

Detroit players have scored more than 30 points in three straight games and rank second in total offense (411.8), third in points per game (30.3), third in assists (256.3) and fourth in ground attack (155.5).
