Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce was in Happy Valley on Saturday for Penn State’s highly anticipated football game against Ohio State, but his viral moment had nothing to do with any of those things.
A video posted to X, formerly Twitter, shows a man wearing a blue hoodie outside Beaver Stadium confronting Jason and using a homophobic slur about Travis Kelce, Jason’s younger brother and Kansas Chiefs tight end City. The man also made a reference to Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
“Hey Kelce, what’s up, your brother is dating Taylor Swift?” the man shouted.
The video shows Kelce turning around, taking the man’s phone and throwing it on the ground.
“Kelce, how does it make you feel that your brother wants to date Taylor Swift?”
Jason Kelce then slammed that child’s phone on the ground.

When Kelce leaned over to pick up the phone, the man shoved him, video obtained and published by TMZ.
“Give me my phone, Kelce,” the man said, shoving him.
Kelce responds, “Who the f—– is now?”
The videos were first posted before kick-off at noon on Saturday and have since gone viral. There was a mixed reaction to Kelce’s response online, with some upset that he also used a slur. But many others came to his defense and praised him for standing up for his family.
Kelce was in town with ESPN College GameDay after Pat McAfee, former NFL punter for the Indianapolis Colts and current host on ESPN, invited him to his kicking contest on the pre-show match..
Kelce retired from the Eagles after 13 years in March and soon after signed as an analyst for ESPN, where he appears on Monday Night Countdown. The Kelce brothers also have a popular podcast together, “New Heights.”
