THE Chicago Bear (4-3) will face the Arizona Cardinals (4-4) on Sunday in Week 9, where the Bears look to bounce back from a tough loss last week.
Chicago is coming off a brutal 18-15 loss to the Washington Commanders, where a last-second Hail Mary spoiled the Bears’ late comeback attempt. Rookie Caleb Williams had the worst game of his young career, but he still led a late comeback to give Chicago the lead with less than a minute remaining. The defense, with two starters in the secondary, held the No. 1 offense to just 12 points (and zero touchdowns) before that improbable Hail Mary to end the game.

Bears 23, Cardinals 20: This looks like a game that could potentially be awkward on both sides and could ultimately come down to which team gets the ball last. That said, I’m counting on the Bears to fight back after a heartbreaking loss to the Commanders. They have a defense that has held opponents under 21 points for 13 straight games and a young quarterback who has proven effective in the fourth quarter. I’m picking Chicago to get a one score win in what I believe to be a must-win game for the Bears.
