The Philadelphia Eagles received some positive injury news ahead of Thursday night’s showdown against the Washington Commanders. The Eagles announced they have activated left tackle Jordan Mailata from the reserve/injured list.
Mailata missed the last four games with a hamstring injury and was placed on short-term injured reserve. Fred Johnson replaced Mailata during his absence and the Eagles won every game.
Mailata welcomed his replacement this week.
Jordan Mailata on Fred Johnson: “Fred did an incredible job. …I was texting him with bags of money. I was texting him with bags of money after the game. I was like, you’re charging the bank right now. I’m excited for Fred.

Mailata’s return would mean Philadelphia returns all 11 offensive starters for the game that will determine first place in the NFC East.
Mailata is one of the best left tackles in the NFC, which means Philadelphia’s powerful running game will be at its strongest when he returns.
