Oz “The Mentalist” Pearlman is incredibly good at what he does. And while I can’t tell you how he does it, I can tell you that the results speak for themselves.
He *a little* predicted last season’s Super Bowl game and winner in training camp, and it’s kind of the least impressive thing he’s done. I mean, just look what he did with the Buffalo Bills earlier this season. It’s completely inexplicable.
There’s a lot more where they came from, and one tip in particular is starting to resurface this week because it could have predicted something that could happen on Sunday: a Green Bay Packers win against the San Francisco 49ers.
But that’s not the full extent of the trick Pearlman used. The Pat McAfee Show all the way in April during the NFL Draft. He also had a prediction on the final score – a goldmine for punters if it comes true.
“The Packers beat the 49ers 34-27.” This is the predicted score that Pearlman already had written in a sealed envelope (because of course he did). But it’s not far-fetched. The Packers are actually 2.5-point favorites over the Niners, which would have been hard to understand in August, when San Francisco was among the top Super Bowl favorites.
Now, punters are seriously considering sprinkling something on that final score.
The odds of a Packers victory by an exact score of 34-27 are a very long +17,500 at BetMGM, meaning a $10 bet would pay $1,750.
The risk here — aside from trusting an apparent wizard — is that this may not be the right Packers-49ers game. There is always the possibility that these teams end up in the playoffs.
