The Dallas Cowboys are in serious trouble, having won only three games out of the 10 they have played during the 2024 season; the latest setback was an embarrassing loss at AT&T Stadium to the rival Houston Texans, extending their home winless streak.
The Cowboys are back in action Sunday against the division rival Washington Commanders, who are 7-4 in 11 games. The Commanders include former Dallas defensive end Dorance Armstrong, who played six years with the team before signing a three-year, $45 million contract with Washington during the offseason.
And ahead of Sunday’s game, Armstrong was asked how he viewed what was happening with his former club – and gave nothing less than a brutal assessmentvia Ben Standig of The Athletic on X.
Q: “What do you think about what’s happening in Dallas with the Cowboys?
Armstrong: “It’s not good. I’ll leave it there.
The Commanders are in a much better position than Dallas, and you can be sure Armstrong doesn’t regret his decision to leave the Cowboys.
