THE Bengals of Cincinnati And the defensive winger Trey Hendrickson remains in a contract and the exchange with the draft of the NFL as approach.
But the same discussion points continue to go around now and finally led to the same conclusion – the Bengals do not negotiate Hendrickson.
Do not say the Indianapolis colts.
During an appearance in the Pat McAfee program on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network revealed that the The colts still have an interest in acquiring Hendrickson via trade.
“The colts are interested in Trey Hendrickson,” said Rapoport. “THE Bengals I don’t want to let him leave the building and the Bengals work to keep it “
These colts, of course, now use the defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who knows in the first hand what Hendrickson can do for a whole defense after his passage with the Bengals.
The colts have always seemed to be a logical landing point for bengal free agents like Mike Hilton, regardless of Bengals exchange candidates like Germaine Pratt.
Hendrickson, however, is a different beast. Bengals have a price requested from the high trade on its services and technically under contract for one more season. A team that acquires Hendrickson would then need to respond to this commercial price, then give him the large extensions he wants.
No number of connections like Anarumo will save a team like the colts to pay big on what Bengals want in exchange for Hendrickson. So, unless the front office of Cincinnati changes in a shocking way on the requested price, the colts may want to be far while Hendrickson remains with the Bengals.
