True to its name, the second year League – also known as UFL – is the combination of four teams that were previously part of the XFL and four USFL teams, which were all in competition for players, staff and spring football viewers since each league has been relaunched recently. The 2025 UFL season starts on Saturday March 28 and will continue until a champion is crowned on Sunday June 14.
