The defense of the Lions showed lightning to be one of the best in the NFL last season in several different points of the season before the injuries become too much to overcome.
On Wednesday, one of the leaders of the defensive unit of the Lions, the former star of Florida Gators and the favorite of the fans of the Lions Alex Anzalone, sent a message to the world of NFL on its value to the team with rumors of draft NFL swirling.

Anzalone retweeted a video of the strengths of the game as well as the statistics on which the NFL players played the most shots in the coverage of the man during the last season.

Anzalone led the league among players with at least 150 men’s cover snaps, showing its versatility.

The moment of the Anzalone post is interesting since the recovery of the NFL 2025 is less than a month.
The Lions were linked to the potential replacements of the Anzalone, although the Lions secondary is likely to start next season for the Sheppard team and the head coach Campbell.
Anzalone signed a contract extension of $ 18.75 million over three years in March 2023 to stay in Detroit in the foreseeable future.
