Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line player, Tyler Smith, was exceptional to start his career.
The former first round choice of Tulsa played and started in 47 on 54 possible games for cowboys in its first three years, and it has become one of the best interior line players in the NFL.
Smith’s game throughout his career has prompted Brad Gagnon de Bleacher Report To list it as the most underpaid player of the team.

“The Bowler’s twice pro has become one of the best interior offensive line players of the game, but Smith still plays its recruit contract with a price of $ 4.3 million for 2025. After that, it will become expensive in one way or another,” writes Gagnon.
The cowboys paid in Zack Martin a ton of money after his recruit agreement until this year, when he announced his retirement. Now Smith can take this part of the salary ceiling once it is ready for a new agreement, which could happen from this offseason.
Smith may not have the absolute priority for an extension because Micah Parsons is also due for one, but the cowboys should always try to make one with their higher inner line player.
Smith has a fifth year option for 2026, giving it two additional seasons on his contract. Dallas has time to negotiate with Smith, but the sooner it is done, the better.
