Green Bay, Wisconsin (AP) – The second Kristian Welch joins the Packers of Green Bay, a team for which he previously played in 2023.
Packers announced Welch’s signature on Friday.
Welch, 26, played six games with the Denver Broncos and nine games with the Baltimore Ravens last season. He left a start for each of these teams and had an escaped recovery for the Ravens.
He had joined the Packers training team in 2023, finally rose to the active list and ended up playing in 12 regular season games and two playoff competitions. Welch did not play a defensive click that year, but was on the ground for almost half of the special packers games and made six plated.

Welch has played 72 career games in the regular season, performing 13 -plated in defense and 27 others on special teams. The former free free agent of Iowa played for Baltimore from 2020-2022 before joining the packers the first time.
