Tampa Bay Buccaneers enter the draft of the NFL 2025 with clear needs to help strengthen their team before the season.
While many teams seek to add offensive talents, most additions that Buccaneers need are on the defensive side. The NFL project analyst Jordan Plocher, identified Early and late draft options for BUCs according to their needs.

Buccaners Day 1 Target: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
The 2 -feet 2 inch and 235 pounds from Alabama is a planned first -round choice. Campbell led the Crimson Tide with 117 plated, adding a summit of 12 plated for the loss, a top of five bags, two forced escapes, two passing deviations, interception and escaped recovery. Plocher explains that Campbell can help in all phases of the game.
“Campbell is a very versatile assistant who excels in all phases of the game.
Campbell’s skills could make it very precious next to the Star Lavonte David secondary.
Buccaneers day 3 Target: Danny Stutsman, LB, Oklahoma
Oklahoma’s second-American second-time second-time 2024 with 184 solo plated, 37 plated for loss, eight bags and three interceptions.
Buccaneers needing the depth of the second, Plocher describes it as a good option and potential flight in the project due to its capacities.
“Stutsman is another strong option – an athletic assistant with clean game recognition skills, he obtained an elite note of 90.9 defense last season.”
Stutsman’s ability to diagnose games quickly and be a defender of elite race makes it a fascinating development perspective. Although he is not an immediate starter, his advantage and his work ethics could make him a flight for Tampa Bay on day 3.
If Tampa Bay follows this plan, they could leave with key parts to solidify their defense for the years to come.
