Manara comes to packers with more than 20 years of experience in professional sports. He has worked as a lawyer general of cardinals since July 2023 and was vice-president of main and general counsel for 10 months. He provided legal advice and strategic advice to owners, executives and football staff. His responsibilities included daily legal issues involving disputes, employment, football operations and business issues.
Manara was vice-president of labor relations and policies of the National Football League from 2008 to 21. He represented the NFL management council, the League and the clubs in the administration and application of the NFL collective agreement, including in the procedures and disputes of arbitration. He was part of the NFL negotiation team during the 2011 ABC negotiations and 2020 with the NFL Players Association.

The other responsibilities included the administration and application of the NFL policy and program for abuse substances, and the substances policy improving performance, as well as the ABC for game managers. It also advised the NFL football operations department concerning policies, procedures and other legal issues, and applied the Personal Policy of the NFL and the authority of the Commissioner for the integrity of the game.

Before joining the NFL, he was associated with the Labor and Employment Service in Proskauer and he also worked in licenses and marketing for the National Basketball Association.

Manara obtained her baccalaureate in international relations at Johns Hopkins University, where he was a member of the football team and his law diploma with the honors of the New York Law School.
He and his wife Kathy have three children: Kate, 20 years old; Jack, 18 years old; and Ryan, 15 years old.
