The commanders’ brass is in Florida this week for the NFL League meetings.
Palm Beach, Florida – The Top Brass of Commanders is in Florida this week, preparing for a new season during the NFL League meetings. During his stay, the head coach Dan Quinn sat in Chick Hernandez to discuss the next chapter of the team and new additions.
Some of the biggest names to join the commanders during this offseason include Deebo Samuel, Laremy Tunsil and Michael Gallup. Other players, such as Zach Ertz and Bobby Wagner, come back to commanders for the second year with the young star quarter Jayden Daniels.
Tunsil will be the key to protecting the blind from Daniels.
“What a cool addition,” said Quinn. “To add someone from the Laremy caliber to play this position. Everyone knows that it is one of the most difficult places, and he did it at such a high level. To add guys like Laremy and Deebo to this crew and be part of the way we do things in the future, Bravo in Adam [Peters] And their staff to add to a really cool team. “”
One of these large parts, Samuel, will be the key to the growth of commanders, according to the coach.
“It is exactly the type of commander we want. This is a competitive competitor, team oriented, hard and hard. The more we add to a team that already thinks that way and the costs, the better.

The former Cowboys coach also brought Gallup from Dallas. Quinn said that a change of decor could do the good of the receiver.

“Sometimes you just need the right environment to really go, and I think Michael is in this space,” said Quinn. “For us, to give him the opportunity to do this, it’s a big problem.”
On the defensive side, the commanders add Jivon Kinlaw and Will Harris. Quinn spoke of allowing space players to express themselves fully. This is something he talked about last season in reference to Daniels.
But that’s not all about the new guys. Quinn said he was impressed by the number of players wanted to come back to play another season together after having successfully had the NFC championship match the last time.
“It tells us the environment, the culture they have created together to really set up high standards for both, to have this confidence and love for each other – that’s what a good team is part of it.
One of the return players is Ertz, who spoke of his retirement potentially after last season. Quinn explained how Ertz played hard last year and exceeded expectations as commander.
Now Quinn is around the table during meetings of the League to search for means to advance the football game, discussing everything, changes in health and safety rules. He called it an honor to be part of.
“Being part of this process and having a chance voting on rules and things that can affect the game is a responsibility that I am not moving away. I know the importance of this,” said Quinn.

While Quinn turns to the future, he also took a moment to express his gratitude to fans of the commanders for energy at the end of last season, which allowed Burgundy and the gold to take a deep after-season race.
“It looked exactly like the way football here in the DMV is supposed to feel,” said Quinn about the energy around the team.
As the new season is getting closer, Quinn says that the team expects to improve.
“We expect our team to really get started and do everything we can improve and go in the most important way. We work hard to do it.”
