Ohio State Buckeyes were fortunate to probably have the best nation’s reception corps last year, with a deadly triumvirate that was composed of Emeka Egbuka, Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate.
While Smith and Tate will return for 2026, Egbuka will leave for the draft of the NFL, and he could very well be a first -round choice next month.
In addition, the 22 -year -old could end up facing a championship immediately, because he should land with the Eagles of Philadelphia in the last simulation project of the professional football network.
This may seem like a rather strange adjustment since the Super Bowl title Eagles are already quite busy in the position of the wide receiver, but Brentley Weissman of PFN thinks that it would be a good match.
“With Devonta Smith and Aj Brown already in the fold, it may look like a luxury choice, but I like to add another wide receiver to their offense. Brown is often injured, and the team has not obtained a ton of production from their passing passing outside their two top targets”, ” Weissman wrote. “Emeka Egbuka is the perfect complement to this duo of wide Rockstar receptors. He can manage the slot machine and do the dirty work in the short and intermediate fields of the field while Brown and Smith dominate outside. Egbuka’s tenacity and physics will be an excellent adjustment in this offense.”
Egbuka left a campaign in 2024 during which he transported 81 receptions for 1,011 yards and 10 affected, helping to lead the Ohio State to a national title.
Tacoma, wa. Native led a pair of 1,000 yards in Columbus, also ending with 1,151 yards in 2022.
