With the draft of the NFL just a few weeks old, Longhorn Alfred Collins has become a popular name. The talented defensive tackle has reserved the 30 best visits with teams from the League. Yesterday, it continued when he finalized a visit with the Miami dolphins.
Collins comes out of the best season of his university career. During the 2024 campaign, he established careers in the total plated with 55 and recovery escaped with one. A defensive line full of talent, he stood out and helped get the Longe chât Two victories within one national championship.

Due to his game, Collins was able to add to his trophy case. He obtained the honors of the second All-American team and First Team All-Sec, which helped increase his stock and aroused the interest of the NFL teams who seek to add to their defense in the draft.
If the dolphins wrote Collins, he would meet a great need. Miami lost Calais Campbell and Da’Shawn Hand in a free agency. It left with only Zach Sieler and Benito Jones who will return in 2025. Miami could also turn to Matt Dickerson and Neil Farrell, but they spent most of last season on the training team. The editorial staff of Collins would give them a young player with a high height, and he would not have to start immediately.
Although Collins should not be a first -round choice, he received praise from analysts and scouts around the game. This includes Daniel Jeremiah from NFL Network, which describes Collins as a “dominant race defender with an advantage as rusher. He has the size, length and engine ideal for his position”.
