THE Titans du Tennessee did a solid job on their offensive line via a free agency by adding beginners Dan Moore and Kevin Zeitler, as well as the multi -purpose reserve Blake Hance. While many points of sale have applauded these movements, Tennessee could always seek to improve the depth of the unit during the draft of the NFL.
Thanks to the first part of the pre-project process, Tennessee was not linked to many offensive line prospects. There have been some interviews mentioned in the NFL screening combination and certain local perspectives provided for visits, but really, there was a silence.
This changed on Monday when Ian Rapoport reported that the Titans welcomed the offensive platform of William & Mary Charles Grant during a visit to the Top 30.
Grant is one of the most underestimated perspectives of this draft class because of its slight physical limitations and its small university experience. It is a raw talent with a huge advantage, which uses its history of struggle and its athletics to its advantage.
At 6 feet 5 inches, 311 pounds, Grant does not have the mass that many teams are looking for the tackle while it enters the league and could use one year inside an NFL bodybuilding room to add a functional force, but its natural capacity in the tackle position cannot be drawn.
Grant must be considered a solid choice of day 2 with the upward pro Bowl with a team that gives it a legitimate shot to develop. Although he does not come and compete for a starting position as a recruit, he is fortunate to be a long -term response to one or the other of the tackles once his physical development catches up with the foundation he has already in place.
With Tennessee having beginners JC Latham and Dan Moore locked up, Grant can be a choice of home run in the middle of the rounds for the titans, and it should be a name to look at the approach of the project.
