For the 2025 season, Caroline’s panthers have the same coach, managing director and the same starting quarter as they did in 2024. It is the first time since 2019 which is true for the NFL franchise.
“It’s huge”, the quarter of the Caroline Bryce Young said About continuity during an appearance on “CBS Sports HQ”. “It is something that I am grateful to be part of now, you know, this kind of being the first time in my career that is the case. And we are really really excited about it as an organization, as a team, knowing that it will be many similar guys, many familiar faces.
“We are going to have time to build, grow and achieve the objectives we set. Just this continuity for us to continue to build, it is definitely a luxury, so I am happy that we have it, and now it is on us to make sure that we are executing with. ”
In relation: Bryce Young on Jalen Milroe: “It’s someone who commands a wardrobe”
The Panthers seemed to find something in the second half of the 2024 season when the Caroline won four of her last nine games. The four previous victories of the Panthers had won 27 games to collect.
“I think that for me and for us as a team, it was just in a way in us and in our identity”, “ Young. “You know, he was a new staff. There had been a lot of movement that was there. And for us, we had to find our foot. You know, it was for me individually. It was a new system, so being able to have time to develop in this and to be able to learn from it and we, as an offensive, to move in the right direction.
“And now during the offseason, it is up to us to continue this momentum, make sure that we always build and we assure that we wear it next year.”
For a certain time during the 2024 season, it appeared that the Panthers could have a quarter-back leaving different in 2025. Selected from the Alabama with the first choice of the draft of the NFL 2023, Young started 16 games as a recruit. But in 2024, Caroline coach Dave Canales put the young people of two games in the season in favor of Andy Dalton.
Dalton started five games in his 14th NFL season before a thumb injury opened in Young to play again.
“It was just a very new different experience for me”, ” Young. “But I tried to do everything I could to be consistent. And I think I could have been proud of that. And again, I am grateful. “
Young succeeded in 11 passes in Touché and 13 interceptions in his career in the NFL when he was a bench. In his 10 departures after his return to the alignment in 2024, he succeeded in 15 passes in Touché and six interceptions.
“It is a guy who was given a very difficult situation by being benches very early”, ” Canales said During an appearance on ESPN “This is football”. “And he just went to work. He just came every day, returned to work. He never stopped leading. He connected with his teammates. He was there hell or the highs, a good game, a bad game, anyway, he was there at the reception forward guys, encouraging guys, supporting Andy.
“And at the same time, just, like treatment.
“And it was honestly-like the part I felt too, was it made to me a statement: you can trust me with this offense. Call it. Call it. We have crossed the match plan. Call as you want, and I’m going to make it work. And that’s where we grew up throughout the season.”
Canales said it gives Young and the Panthers something to develop.
“The biggest difference will be, I think, just the level of comfort”, ” Canales said Around 2025. “The guys knowing what we are expecting, the style of play, our mentality, the way we are going to start and finish a game, start and finish a practice. And therefore have a guy’s basic group that we were able to talk about these things throughout the season, through the ups and downs and the stockings.
Carolina will start her off -season program on April 21.
“We have work to do”, Young. “We must continue to continue building, continue to grow. Obviously, the team is still developing. Obviously, there is a lot of free -referee movement, then, obviously, there is also the project, therefore in this gray area where you are still finalizing the team, obviously, it is a process.
“But for the guys that are there now and with the Landscape Looks Like in the Future for Us, we just have to make sure that we’re pushing bearselves, Being the best version we can be, being consistent, Growing and Playing for Each Other. That supports each other and has each other’s backs. We can continue to build.
