The New England Patriots revealed two new names among this year’s appointments for the consideration of the fame of fame, as recently eligible candidates Julian Edelman and Adam Vinatieri join the third finalist Logan Mankins. Mankins was also a finalist in 2022 and 2023.
From today, fans of the patriots are encouraged to vote for the finalist of the most deserving the enthronement of the temple of the fame of the patriots. Fans can vote on the Patriots website via Midnight EDT on Wednesday, April 30. The team will announce the selection of fans later this week.
This year’s enthronement will join Bill Parcels, who has been appointed as a contributor to the Patriots Hall of Fame by the Patriots and CEO, Robert Kraft, during a media session on April 1 during annual League meetings in Palm Beach, Florida. The date and time of this year ceremony will be announced once confirmed with the two inducted.
From 2007, the Patriots began a new tradition, inducing at least one player in the team of the team renown each year. The process implies a panel of media, former students and staff who collectively name players or chief coaches most deserving of enthronement. Once the appointments have been made, the Committee votes and the first three accounts have become finalists this year. The patriots then give fans the opportunity to vote online to select the enthronement of each year. The Patriots are the only NFL team which allows its fans to make the final selection for the enclosure in the highest individual of the franchise. In addition to the fans who select a candidate for induction each year, a main selection committee added three members to the renowned temple of the Patriots and Kraft extended the honor to five contributors.
The Patriots of New England held their annual meeting of the Application Committee on Thursday, April 3, to discuss, deliberate and vote for this year’s candidates for induction at the Patriots’ renown temple. Now it’s up to fans to select the 2025 winner.

Julian Edelman spent his entire career over 12 years with the Patriots after initially joined the team as a choice of seventh lap in the recovery of the 2009 NFL of Kent State. He is second in the history of the team with 620 receptions, fourth with 6,822 reception yards and ninth with 36 affected. He also had 58 attempts on the ground for 413 yards, the most precipitated attempts and the yards on the ground by a broad receiver in the history of the patriots. Its 9,869 versatile yards are fourth in the history of the team. Edelman is third in the history of the NFL with 118 after-season receptions, behind Travis Kelce (178) and Jerry Rice (151). He is one of the 17 NFL players with at least 1,000 yards in a career playoffs and its 1,442 reception yards in the playoffs are third of all time, behind Rice (2,245) and Kelce (2,078). Member of three Super Bowl championship teams, Edelman achieved key performance at crucial moments during the three super bowls victories. He was appointed MVP of the Super Bowl LIII after finishing with 10 receptions for 141 yards in the victory against the Rams of Los Angeles. Edelman finished with 5 receptions for 87 yards, including a miraculous heter of 23 yards, diving and finger at the end of the fourth quarter of the victory against Atlanta in the Super Bowl Li. He also caught the pass of a winning touch of 3 yards with 2:06 to play in the fourth quarter of the Victory of the Super Bowl XLIX against Seattle. A university quarter who converted into a wide receiver after entering the NFL, Edelman made his mark as a turnover of clearance at the start of his career. Edelman totaled 177 chipping truck yields for 1,986 yards and an average of 11.2 yards, which is the 12th higher of the league annals (100 chipped covers). He holds the team record with 4 covers of clearance for a touchdown and established a deductible record with a return of a boot of release of 94 yards for a touch against Miami on January 2, 2011. During the 2011 season, he was also called to play in defense and finished the season with 10 plated in total as a reserve in secondary.
Logan Mankins is recognized as one of the best offensive line players in the history of the franchise. He played nine of his 11 NFL seasons with the New England Patriots after joining the team as a choice of recovery in the first round in 2005. The triple team of the team won six selections Pro Bowl and Six Honers All-Pro (2007, 2009-13) during his stay with New Angleterre, including the all-Pro Associated All-Pro fees. That he played his entire college career as a left tackle, Mankins was moved to the left guard when he joined the Patriots and was immediately inserted into the departure formation. Mankins began the 130 regular games and 17 playoff games in which he appeared as a member of the Patriots. With Mankins in alignment, the Patriots offensive ended in the top 10 in eight of his nine seasons with the Patriots – 2005 (7), 2007 (1), 2008 (5), 2009 (3), 2010 (8), 2011 (2), 2012 (1), 2013 (7). Mankins ended his career with the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay (2014-15), winning a seventh place Pro Bowl in his last season in 2015. He was a member of two of the Patriots’ decade teams (2000 and 2010) and their 50th anniversary team. Mankins is a finalist of the team’s fame for the third consecutive time and is the only player to have been selected as a finalist more than once who has not yet been selected at the Patriots’ fame.
Adam Vinatieri has acquired reputation as one of the greatest and most placekickers in the history of professional football during his 24 years in the NFL. After Joining New England as a First Year Free Out of South Dakota State in 1996, He Helped Kick Off the Patriots Dynasty Through 2005. He then Spent the Final 14 Years of His Career with Indianapolis from 2006-2019, Winning a Fourth Super Bowl in 2006. Leading scorer with 2,673 points, as well as the NFL Record-Holder for Most Field Goals Made (599), Postseason points marked (238) and goals in overtime made (12). He is also a member of the team of all time in the 100th anniversary of the NFL and the team of every decades of the NFL 2000. As a member of the Patriots, Vinatieri was responsible for several of the most crucial objectives in the history of the NFL. In 2001, Vinatieri connected to a basket of 45 yards in Blizzard conditions to send the AFC divisional eliminatory match against the Oakland Raiders in overtime, and then won the match on a 23 yards basket. New England continued at the Super Bowl XXXVI this season, and Vinatieri launched the winner of the 48 yards while the time expired to give the Patriots their first victory of the Super Bowl. Two years later in the Super Bowl XXXVII, Vinatieri struck a 41 yards basket with four seconds to play in the match to win a second victory of the Super Bowl for the Patriots in 2003. In his third Super Bowl with New England in 2004, Vinatieri converted a goal on the field and three additional points in a three-point victory, 24-21, Super Bowl XXXIX. His career as a Patriot earned him posts in the New England Patriots team in the 1990s, the 2000 team, the 50th anniversary team and the All-Dynastie team.
