Although some sleepers are very well known, there is a player that the loaders should absolutely keep their eyes as a potential choice of day 3: the tenness volunteer receiver of which Thornton Jr.
Thornton is one of the most unique physical specimens in this year’s project. He measures 6 feet 5 inches and weighs around 215 pounds, so he has an incredible size. Not only that, but he ran a 4.30 -second dashboard of 40 yards with a screening combination, making him the second fastest receiver in the table.
It is wild for a player of his size, and it belongs to his average of 25.3 yards by taking with Tennessee in 2024. Yes, it was a relatively small sample, because Thornton captured only 26 passes for 661 yards, but that has always demonstrated his expinity, and he marked six revisions.
So why is exactly Thornton considered a late choice? Well, he is not the biggest runner, and we can say that he is a bit of a pony in a turn. It runs vertically and does not do much else. At least not for the moment.
However, Los Angeles can work with him to improve his road tree, and there is no doubt that he would represent an imposing option in the red zone for Herbert.
It couldn’t hurt to take a leaflet of day 3 on Thornton, which could very well be one of the most underestimated perspectives in his class.
