With Chidobe Awuzie in the fold, the Baltimore Ravens corner room is in a much better place now than before, but they probably still have work to do.
Awuzie will be Llikely the third departure corner of the Ravens alongside all ProC Marlon Humphrey and the first round in 2024 Nate Wiggins. It is a very solid trio, but the only other corners of the list are Jalyn Armor-Davis and TJ Tampa, which are both old end of the end of the round and relatively inexperienced.
The ravens could be in trouble if one of their three starters falls for any reason. Given the way their pass defense was horrible in the first half of last season, they would like to avoid a rehearsal if possible.
Consequently, it may be in its interest to take a corner from the start of the project, even if it is not necessarily in the first round. When you look at the prospects of day 2 which could be a potential adjustment for each team, Pro Football Focus’ Mason Cameron Named Notre-Dame Corner Benjamin Morrison as only once the ravens should keep an eye.
“With only five half of the corner on their list because it is currently built, the Ravens could make an excellent use of the skills of Morrison as a long corner for men gently,” wrote Cameron. “Baltimore directed a top 10 coverage 1 in 2024, making Morrison a natural adjustment after Notre Dame ran the most coverage 1 in the FBS last season.”
Morrison played only six games last season due to a hip injury, which made him miss 10 games, including the Fighting Irish race in the national championship match. During these six games, the native of Phoenix succeeded 20 plated and four shortcomings.
Morrison is very productive in the field, however, even if he has inconsistencies in the coverage. He has nine career interceptions in 31 games, showing his impressive ball skills.
For a choice of second or third round, Morrison could be an intelligent selection for the Ravens while they seek to add depth to the position, in particular with its adjustment in the zach orr diagram.
