The Lions of Detroit will be one of the first candidates for the NFC this year again, while the Dan Campbell team has just released a regular season of 15-2 in 2024, but suffered a disappointing defeat for the Washington commanders in the playoff series.

“If Cincinnati does not plan to extend Hendrickson, they should consider negotiating him. Although this year’s recruit class offers promising writing options, elite prospects are missing. Bengals could potentially acquire a first -round choice for Hendrickson, allowing them to immediately find an appropriate replacement,” Valentino wrote.
Hendrickson has been looking for an extension of Bengals since the last off-season, but the two parties seem to be far from an agreement based on the recent comments of defender All-Pro on the lack of communication from Cincinnati throughout the contract process.
“Communication has been poor in recent months”, Hendrickson said that in the Pat McAfee show. “This is something that I hold in high esteem. They did not communicate directly with my agent, and it was a little frustrating.”

Bengals gave Hendrickson Authorization to request a business Earlier in the offseason, and the team could be forced to exchange it if a new contract cannot be agreed.
The Lions should aggressively continue Hendrickson in a potential agreement. Aidan Hutchinson desperately needs help on the defensive line, and associating him with Hendrickson would form one of the most dominant defensive duets of recent memory.
Detroit has the capital project and could create the ceiling space to acquire the Cincinnati professional professional quadruple and give it a new agreement. It would be a massive investment, but that was worth it. Hendrickson is an elite bag artist who posted 17.5 bags at the head of the league in 2024. The rusher of pass that changes the situation could make the team the lions to beat in 2025.
