The former USC safety horses’ bullock was selected by Houston Texans in the third round of the NFL 2024 draft with the overall choice n ° 78. Bullock had a recruited season with the Texans after spending three years with Trojan horses.
Bullock was in the same draft class as the ancient quarter of the Trojan horses of the USC Caleb Williams, which was selected n ° 1 in total. Before his second season with the Texans, Bullock grants credit to the USC for its development as a player.

Bullock signed up for the USC in the spring of 2021. In the first year, he had an immediate impact, playing free security, nickelback and corner. USC safety was a key player throughout his time with Trojan horses. Bullock played with USC Trojan horses for three years before declaring the NFL draft.
During the 2023 season, Bullock led the team with nine pass ruptures and recorded 61 plated and two interceptions. One of the interceptions he returned for a touch of 30 yards against Utah. Bullock started in the 12 games he played in his junior season. Bullock has completed his collegial career recording nine interceptions, 15 passes defended.
As a recruit, Bullock intervened and had an immediate impact with the Texans. Bullock started in 13 games, playing 17 in the regular season. He recorded 54 combined plated, 11 passes defended and five interceptions. Bullock started in the two qualifying games for the Texans, finishing with five combined plated.

Houston Texans coach Demeco Ryans had only praise for Bullock in his recruit year.
“He has a unique talent to attack football and be around football. Each match, I think, he played, he touched football,” said Ryans.
Before the start of the season, Ryans praised Bullock en pre-season.
“He made games for us. He was consistent throughout the practice,” said Ryans. “I am enthusiastic about its growth and development as a young man, you know, security in our system. He is fortunate to be one of the best with whom I had the chance to work. ”
The director general of the Texans, Nick Caserio, explained in December the way Bullock developed well in a single season.

In this year’s draft, a defensive player to watch will be the defensive rear of USC Jaylin Smith. Smith is a versatile athlete who was a playmaker for the defense of the USC in 2024. Smith ran 4.45 at the NFL 2025 screening combination. In 2024, Smith recorded 58 placed in total and two interceptions.
Smith is a choice of third round projected and could be a flight. Smith could become a player like his former USC Bullock teammate, who intensified as a recruit and has become a first year playmaker.
The NFL 2025 draft takes place from April 24 to 26, 2025 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Bullock heads for his second season with the Texans alongside an elite defense under Ryans. The Texans were eliminated during the divisional round of the playoffs and will seek to take a deeper race next season.
