The Buccaneers of Tampa Bay have been kings of NFC South for four years, and the race of the rest of the division to dethrone them took a blow on Friday.
New Orleans’ saints have not been able to make the most of the Buccaneers for some time, the Bucs going 5-1 against New Orleans since 2022, but their attempts to dethrone Tampa Bay will be much more difficult. NFL journalist Ian Rapoport reported on Friday that the quarter of the saints, Derek Carr, suffered from a shoulder injury that could keep him away for the entire 2025 NFL season.

Carr was a quarter to defeat the Bucs for this victory of the saints, at the end of the 2023 season. The team is 1-1 against him when he was at the helm of New Orleans, the fighter in week 4, then losing against him during the week 17. Tampa Bay did not play at Carr in 2024-he suffered from an oblique injury before he could play the BUCS New Orleans in week 6, and a broken triputé kept him outside the week 17 of the Bay de la Saint-Baie in the bay of Tampa. The Buccaneers won these two games, beating the Spencer Rattle signal signal.
In the current state of things, the Buccaneers could be against Rattle for the two competitions in 2025-unless New Orleans can sign a veteran quarterrier or write a recruit to play for them this year. Until it happens, they will monitor the new Carr situation.
