THE Arizona cardinals have completed their official visits before the flap at the headquarters of their team, known as TOP-30 combines or “30” meetings, because they are allowed to bring up to 30 prospects.
These visits are used for several reasons. Sometimes they have to spend time with potential choices in the first round to know them more personally than the few minutes they get in the combination of NFL or other events. Sometimes it is to obtain a medical assessment. Sometimes it is probably for unrelated players as a kind of means of recruiting them after the project.
