The Vikings of Minnesota should currently go to the 2025 NFL season with the second-year quarter-rear JJ McCarthy as a starter. Although he was a very talented player, he did not see a single regular turn signal and he missed all his year recruited due to a knee injury.
McCarthy could very well be able to manage the starting role. He could be able to pick up where Sam Darnold stopped last season.

However, it is a major bet to take for a team that was at the dawn of the statements of the Super Bowl.
At the start of the NFL’s off -season, Aaron Rodgers was strongly linked to the Vikings. Since then, they have cooled rumors and reports have declared that they are not currently interested in signing the future temple of fame.
Despite this position, Minnesota should rethink it and strongly consider bringing Rodgers for an agreement of one year.

Rodgers is still a free agent despite the fact that we expected to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers for weeks. It could be a coincidence, but could he wait until the Vikings come back to the idea of signing it for a season?

Playing Minnesota would be attractive for Rodgers. There are several reasons why he would like to play for the Vikings.
First and foremost, the weapons he would have is the elite. Justin Jefferson is widely considered as the best wide receiver of the NFL and Jordan Addison is a brilliant talent by his side. TJ Hockenson has the talent of being among the best tight ends of the NFL.
Add to the fact that the Minnesota has the former Ballon carrier from Rodgers to Aaron Jones and that things seem even better to call him 41 years.
Secondly, Rodgers would have a chance to compete against Green Bay packers twice a year. This should be an intriguing advantage for him.

Finally, the Vikings were one of the best football teams last season. They finished with a 14-3 file before losing in the Wild Card Round of the eliminatory series at the Rams of Los Angeles.
Why should Minnesota change their position and sign Rodgers? Quite simply, he would give the team a better chance to win a super bowl.
During the 2024 NFL season with New York Jets, Rodgers completed 63% of its passes for 3,897 yards, 28 affected and 11 interceptions. He is even more than capable of fueling a team to win in the right situation.
Giving McCarthy a complete healthy year of learning the touch lines, taking representatives in practice and potentially seeing playing time throughout the year would also be ideal for its development.

There is nothing to connect the Vikings to a change of mind with regard to Rodgers, but the front office should seriously think about the option.
