Washington commanders have upgraded to the position of the broader receiver.
The team has negotiated against Deebo Samuel, but it only has a year left and Washington has reasons to continue investing in the offense.
ESPN initiate John Keim believes that the Commanders could target a wide receiver at some point in this week’s draft.

Large receiver always an option for commanders
“They exchanged for Deebo Samuel Sr. and signed Noah Brown and Kj Osborn this offseason. They also signed the veteran Michael Gallup, who comes out of a year -old retirement, and wrote Luke McCaffrey in the third round last season,” Keim wrote.
“But if the commanders want to continue to add help around Daniels, the receiver of the Ohio State Emeka Egbuka would be a consideration in the first round. An assistant coach of the NFL said that Egbuka was one of the two or three receivers, he would repeat as first -round talents.
NFL’s draft starts at 8 p.m. Thursday.
