It seems that Najee Thompson’s time with the Vikings of Minnesota has ended. The cornerback declared on social networks that its time with the organization ended, although the team did not announce its departure on Tuesday evening.
“Love forever in the organization”, Thompson Posted on X, Formerly Twitter, Tuesday evening. “Compared, my time here is over. Our paths can cross again, do nothing more, but injuries occur and I will soon be back on the ground! In the state of Minnesota, thank you for any support and gratitude. Lots of love.”
The Vikings signed Thompson, 24, as a free agent not drafted after the draft of the NFL 2023. He played 15 games that season, recording seven plated in total and an escaped recovery. He spent last season in the injured reserve.
It is not immediately clear the reason for Thompson’s departure. The Vikings announced that they had abandoned the offensive line Trevor Reid on Tuesday, but had not made an announcement concerning Thompson. There is a year left on his agreement.
