“It’s great for Ozzy,” said British Columbia coach Bill O’Brien by SMS.
Trapilo, who was born in Norwell and attended the Lycée de la Columbia-British, was captain of the Eagles.
He won the honors of the first All-ECC team last season, playing mainly in the right tackle.
Trapilo’s father Steve was one of the main line protectors of Doug FluTie playing both on guard and a tackle for the Jack Bicknell teams from 1982 to 1986. Steve Trapilo continued to play custody for the Saints of New Orleans, but died of a heart attack at 39 years.
For Ozzy, who was two years old when his father passed, it is a dream to play in the NFL.
To prepare for the screening combination and the professional day, Trapilo worked with The legendary offensive line of the Patriots Dante Scarnecchia.

Scarnecchia recently told Masslive that he thought that the 6 -foot 8 inch line player and 321 pounds would be in the league.
“He is a child who has major features in terms of personality. He is so coachable. So willing to do everything you ask,” said Scarnecchia. “I cannot imagine that anyone who would not want this type of training and trying to be the best possible player.”
Trapilo was taken 56th in total.
