For the second time on Saturday, a former northwest player and Michigan signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free non-drained agent.
The Large AJ Henning recipient quickly announced its agreement after the conclusion of the NFL draft. Barely five minutes later, the offensive line player Josh Priebe – who spent the 2024 season with the Wolverines – has become the next former Wildcat to sign a contract with Miami.

Priebe played in 36 games over four years with the Wildcats, mainly at guard. During his 2023 senior season, he started the 12 regular season games on the right side of the offensive line and was appointed to the third All-Big Ten team.
The native of Niles, Michigan, returned to his country of origin for his last year of eligibility and spent the 2024 season with the Wolverines. Priebe started the 13 games on the left, was appointed to the third All-Big Ten team and was semi-finalist for the William V. Campbell trophyalso known as “academic heisman”.
Henning and Priebe are now going to Miami, two years after overlapping Evanston for the 2023 season. The Dolphins recipient, Malik Washington, also played alongside Priebe in Northwestern from 2020 to 2022 before transfer to Virginia in 2023. Washington was drafted by Miami during the sixth round NFL 2024 draft.
