METAIRIE, Louisiana (AP) – The quarter of the saints Derek Carr publicly declared for the first time that he had a shoulder injury, but stopped disclosing details on how it happened, or how it could affect his availability to play in the next season.

“I’m dealing with people who lie about me … and I say to myself,” Lord, why should I continue to face this nonsense? ” Carr continued. “You never know what someone really goes through. So why are we continually trying to attack people-and I would say to attack people who may try to do things in the right way?”
