THE New England Patriots had a solid draft which pulled positive notes from those around the NFL.
And although a large part of the conversation is around Will Campbell, Treveyon Henderson and Kyle Williams, a former executive respected by the patriots considers a fifth round like a player to watch.

“Do not sleep on his compatriot Tiger, peak of 5th round Bradyn Swinson,” Scott Pioli wrote on x. “I was able to see a lot on the field and out of the field while consulting for @Lsufootball in the last two seasons. I really think that the best football in Swinson is in front of him.”
Swinson was drafted in the fifth round with the 148th choice. The Rusher Edge fell further than expected – several Draft experts brought Swinson to the third or fourth round. But the patriots need help on the edges since they finished with the 28 championship bags a season ago.
Deatrich Wise was tied with Keion White for a top of five bags, but Wise left New England in the free agency and Join the Washington commanders.
Last year, Swinson led LSU in bags with 8.5, pressures with 59 and plated for loss with 13. He also won the honors of the second All-Sec team.

Dane Brugler of athletics Think that Swinson could have “the fastest impact” on the patriots of the 11 draft choices.
“With its speed of board and flexibility, Swinson can threaten the corner”, ” Brugler wrote. “He flashes on his hands but will remain stuck at the top of his precipitation too often, and his sequencing requires continuous development.
