Washington commanders continue to replace the previous diet in the new draft of the NFL Mock

Although it is not factual, the idea that commanders actively seek to replace players from the previous diet has an interesting simulation exercise.

Ashburn, Virginie – There was a perception of the public on how Washington commanders build their list under the director general Adam Peters and the head coach Dan Quinn. That is to say that they do not send so few players who were brought by the previous regime in favor of the new.

The so-called approach to “their guys” to build the list is not new, of course, but the trades and versions of several recent first round choices made by the leadership of previous commanders have strengthened the feeling that if you were written before the arrival of Peters, you may not be much longer.

While Quinn argued that as soon as he took the job to train in Washington, each guy became “his guy”, the belief is always there to a certain extent. So, while we look at the “Ron guys Rivera” remaining today on the list, we thought it would be a fun branch in our Locked on Mock Draft Monday series to see if there was talent that was released in April which could be used to advance this mission, perceived or factual.

    First round

Caroline’s Ballon de Nord, Omarion Hampton, approached our first choice at 29, but was finally recovered by the two choices of Baltimore Ravens before.

With Hampton out of the table, we turned our attention to the most and more players like Defensive Tackle Derrick Harmon out of OregonXavier Watts security of Notre Dame, and the Ballon Ball Bearer Judkins of Ohio State.

In the end, we decided to go with the defensive tackle of Oregon, which is a wide space filling which played each college season of his career, dating from his first year with the state of Michigan, and certainly projects us to help us resolve the defense of the race which finished 31st in the league in 2024.

    Second round

Back to the stopwatch at No. 61 with a potential starting starting tackle on the list, we turned to approach other areas. Our best available prospects included two buckeyes –The Ballon Carrier Treveyon Henderson And the offensive platform Donovan Jackson.

The security of Texas Andrew Mukuba replaced Watts as the highest player in this position, and the Ole Miss Tre Harris receiver was an interesting name to consider adding to the weapons around the quarter Jayden Daniels.

Henderson won the debate with his best athletics score of all running backs at the NFL 2025 scout combination, including a 4.43 -yard dashboard time that eclipses the Ballon Robinson Jr. ball carrier.

With two seasons on the ground of 1,000 yards in name, Henderson should be able to contribute early, but does not necessarily point out an immediate rejection of Robinson, which, of course, was written by the previous regime.

    Third round

Towards this point, we have started to obtain interests from other teams who seek to exchange for the Daron Payne defensive tackle.

Finally, after several simulated phone calls with generally intelligent general directors, we settled on a business with the Bears of Chicago who brings together Payne with the defensive winger mount and unites the commanders with the 72nd choice in the draft of the NFL 2025.

Although we do not need a direct replacement of pre-peeters in position, Notre Dame Cornerback Benjamin Morrison is an intriguing name near the top of the board here.

Mukuba too, which remains, but not as intriguing as the athletics of State receiver of Iowa Jaylin Noel.

Of course, Noel will not replace the recovery receiver of the recovery of the Terry McLaurin pre-perers, and we expect him to soon become a “Peters guy” in the form of a new contract as soon as possible.

What Christmas will do, however, to add another weapon to a very solid receiver room and bring a return capacity that could help inaugurate our first movement of a guy brought by the current regime when we are really creative in this simulation.

    Fourth

Things become interesting here while the teams are starting to call on Robinson, and if we were standing at the rigidity of the exercise at hand today, these are the only calls we take.

However, the teams also show interest in the Vétéran Austin Ekeler ball carrier, a player caused the latest off -season by Peters, Quinn and the new staff who run things in Washington.

With Henderson selected in the second round, resembling a player who could fulfill the role of Ekeler from 2024, and Noel offering potential as a return to the Luke McCaffrey receiver, we are inclined to listen to. When New Orleans’ saints offer a choice n ° 112 for Ekeler, we bite and save around 3 million dollars in the ceiling space while adding a second choice of fourth round to our recovery bag for this season.

With this choice, we have an overview of the security position once again, and we even look at the depth of the offensive line, but ultimately fell in love with UCLA Edge Oluwafemi OLADEJO.

FEMI, as many refer to him, is a second converted to the edge with a lot of potential, even if it is not a finished product.

A bit like McCaffrey, which Peters selected at the end of the third round 2024, Oladejo is probably a role player in 2025 who could become much more with time and an additional experience in his rather new position.

Peters and Quinn recently examined Oldjo, after visiting the UCLA campus for their professional day.

With the 128th choice in the draft of the NFL from Houston Texans in the trade for the offensive platform Laremy Tunsil, we take out the script for replacement players and the draft Cornerback Nohl Williams of Cal.

The long corner is solid in the cover of the press man and the projects are a good adjustment in a coverage diagram 3, one, if not the main coverage, the commanders that the commanders use under the defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr.

We still have no choice of fifth round, so we go to the sixth round, where we find Nevada Safety Kitan Crawfordwhich brings athletics and leads to the defensive back room. On the seventh round, we come back to take The second UCLA KAIN Medrano Who was a team captain in the Bruins team and brings a lot of experience with him to contribute to special teams and add to the presence of Jordan Magee who had a solid recruit season but dried up by injuries in 2024 behind the future Hall of Famer Bobby Wagner.

With that, we have our class:

    1.29: DL Derrick Harmon, Oregon

2.61: RB Treveyon Henderson, Ohio State

Trade: DT Daron Payne in Bears for 3.72

3.72: Wr Jaylin Noel, Iowa State

Trade: RB Austin Ekeler in the Saints for 4,112

    4.112: Edge Oluwafemi Oldojo, UCLA

    4.128: CB Nohl Williams, Cal

    6.205: S Kitan Crawford, Nevada

    7.245: LB Kain Medrano, UCLA

Harmon projects to replace Payne through the objective of this scenario “What If”, while Henderson does not immediately replace Robinson, but rather adds to him, while we move the veteran Ekeler to recover a lost capital draw during the occupied off -season.

Noel will be added to the receptor room while we are waiting for McLaurin to be converted into `Peters Guy ” with a new contract, and the additions of Oladejo and Crawford could push the Holdvers like the defensive winger Andre Jr. and the security Percy Butler outside the list.

Of course, this is not intended to be considered as a wish that one of these players be removed from the list, only another dive into what could happen in April, and the ramifications of it, only with a slightly more targeted intention to explore this specific scenario.

Where we could not find replacements on the interior offensive line where Chris Paul currently occupies a guard position, in a tight side where Cole Turner enters the new season of the season on the graph of depth, or to the security in which Quan Martin – could also become a “Peters Guy” and is at least under contract thanks to the 2026 season, which was to be a “petersy” and is at least under contract was to be a “Peters Guy”.
