Houston’s Texans entered the NFL’s off -season knowing that they were very limited in terms of what they could do due to financial constraints.
However, the Texans managed to stay busy, making a gust of smooth signatures to repair certain holes while swinging several professions.
The problem is that the Houston movements were not considered too favorably, in particular after exchanging the offensive platform Laremy Tunsil for a packet of recovery choices.
Generally, a Front Office praised for a good decision -making, the Texans were torn left, right and center during the offseason, and Tyler Brooke of the 33rd team is the last analyst to give them a negative examination.
In a song where Brooke ranked the offseason of each AFC team, he gave Houston a C-Minus and clearly does not like what the Texans have done in the trenches.
“Other movements were solid outside the offensive line, including CJ Gardner-Johnson and Christian Kirk while signing guys like Sheldon Rankins and Ronald Darby to add competition in several positions”. Brooke wrote. “However, if Tunsil ends up having a dominant season for Washington [C.J.] Stroud is constantly under constraint, this offseason will be really bad. “”
Tunsil made five appearances in Pro Bowl during his six -year stay in Houston, and the Texans offensive line was a major problem with He in 2024. Now imagine him without him?
Houston can save a certain face with a strong NFL draft next month, but even then the Texans will count on an offensive patchwork line. Stroud was dismissed 52 times last year, and his future does not seem much better in terms of adequate protection.
