It’s been a while since the Indianapolis colts had a major contributor to the close final position.
2024 was no different. The colts have finished the year with some of their lowest notes as receiving in recent years, without any on the list which has recorded more than 200 reception yards. However, this was a result strangely similar to what Indianapolis has seen for a little time.
In a wild statistic underlined by Espn Insider Field Yates, the colts have not had a tight end on their reading list of more than 500 reception yards since 2018.
Draft Prep Note: The colts have not had 500 TE reception yards in a season since … 2018.

The last tight end to reach this number for the colts? Eric Ebron, who even won a selection of the Pro Bowl during this 2018 season.
All this shows a clear conclusion for the colts: a tight end must be an top priority at the time of the draft.
Whether this response is in the form of Tyler Warren from Penn State or Colston Loveland from Michigan, targeting a tight -end -to -end contributor could be a foolproof way to meet these needs. He can take luck to get one or both to fall into their towers of your choice 14, but in the event that is to be won, Indianapolis could have a clear choice.
If Warren and Loveland are out of the table before the selection of the colts, perhaps the objective could turn to the second day, with guys like Elijah Arroyo de Miami and Mason Taylor de Lsu who also gains a little media threw in the class.
Although the number one motif in this project for Indianapolis brass should be clear: start at the start of the project with a close end perspective.
Especially in a critical year for Anthony Richardson and his development, giving him all the tools necessary to succeed will be vital for his success. The tight end is a huge piece of this equation, and it is Chris Ballard and Co. to provide it.
