Trey Hendrickson has spent its last four NFL seasons with the Bengals of Cincinnati. The Rusher Star Pass remains only one year on his contract with the Bengals and recently asked for authorization to request a job.
Despite the request for trade, Hendrickson hopes to stay in Cincinnati.
“However, that shakes, there is nowhere where I prefer to be,” he said in early March.
During the NFL screening combination in Indianapolis, the staff staff director Duke Tobin suggested that Hendrickson’s team and agent were growing on a new contract for the defensive star.

However, the recent comments from the executive vice-president of Bengals, Katie Blackburn, during the annual meeting of the League, did not give credibility to the remarks of Tobin. Blackburn’s words have encouraged Hendrickson frustrated to call the organization with an apparent lack of communication in recent months.
“It was a little disappointing because the communication has been poor in the past two months,” said Hendrickson “The Pat McAfee Show” In reference to the remarks of Blackburn.

Hendrickson added that the talks with the Bengals were largely “here and there”.
Hendrickson has finished each of the last two seasons with 17½ bags. His estimated basic salary of just over $ 15 million for next season pale compared to his counterparts. Myles Garrett accepted a record contract extension with Cleveland Browns earlier this offseason. The agreement will pay Garrett about $ 40 million a year.

“I think he [Hendrickson] Should be happy at certain rates that he may not think he would be happy, “Blackburn said on Tuesday.” I think some are on him to be happy at some point, and if he is not, you know, that’s what sometimes does it. So you know, he needs to say yes to something. And, also, we have all the respect for the world for him. He was a great player. We are happy to have it. And so maybe we will find a way to operate something. We are just going to see where it’s okay. “”
Despite the last turn of the events, Hendrickson said that the “communication line” remained open for its part.

Hendrickson clearly indicated that he was looking for a long -term contract, not a short -term agreement.

I don’t think I want to play for incentives that will be out of my control. I don’t think I want to play (on a) short -term contract. Do you know?”
