Most NFL players take the first part of the off-season to rest and recover after the version which is the season itself, but not the Baltimore Ravens, Derrick Henry.
Henry, 31, is known for his intense training sessions, with several of his exercises that become viral online over the years. The last viral training came just a few days ago and showed the veteran ball carrier while wearing wearing tower chains and finishing leg game exercises.
The 6-2 ball carrier, 247 pounds has long been one of the most impressive athletes in the NFL. He is deceptively fast for someone so big, and that makes him a nightmare for opposing defenders to try to drop. As his many intense training sessions show, his preparation is one of the main reasons why he is so dominant on the ground.

Henry’s training arrives at a time when a potential extension is very on the table. Despite the damage for 1,921 yards and 16 affected in its first season with the Ravens, the current Henry agreement – a $ 16 million contract of $ 16 million he signed as a last free agent – does not even place him in the top 10 among the half -back in average salary.
He has to become a free agent again at the next offseason, but the Ravens want to extend it well before that.
“We will look at this,” Managing Director Eric Decosta told journalists on January 22. “I think it’s a good question. I am so grateful that Derrick [Henry] chose us last year. He entered and … I can honestly say simply his attitude and the way he played was incredible to watch. His relationship with his teammates, his humility as a player, his work ethics – I can’t wait to see him next year.
“I know that it was difficult for him to finish like that; hard for all of us. But I think we have a chip on our shoulders to come back next year with a revenge, to start faster than we started this year, so as not to start 0-2 next year, to get out of the doors faster. I think Derrick will be a large part of that.”
The Eagles of Philadelphia recently made Saquon Barkley – which rushed for more than 2,000 yards, won the offensive player of the year and led them to a Super Bowl in his first season at Midnight Green – the ball carrier best paid in the history of the League with an extension of $ 41.2 million. Henry will probably not do as much on his next agreement, but that could be a point of comparison.
