While spring training continues for the Caroline du Nord Tar Heels football team, the new head coach Bill Belichick may have an idea of his team.
On Friday, Belichick was Welcomed with a visitor From his former team of Patriots from New England, the quarter-Arrière Drake Maye.
The pairing of the two seen on the field had a buzzing of social media, and perhaps even by asking what could have been if one or the other Belichick had come to North Carolina earlier-or if Belichick had remained in New England.
Maye, of course, was drafted from North Carolina n ° 3 in total to the Patriots in the draft last year. He passed three seasons in Chapel Hill, from two of them. He placed fifth of all time in the history of the UNC during the way with 8,018 and fourth via affected with 63.
Maye never had the privilege of playing under Belichick because last year was the first time in 24 years, the coach was not on the sidelines as a head coach. Instead, Maye played for the first year head coach Jerod Mayo in his recruited season. Former Patriot Mike Vrabel is now taking over in New England for 2025.
Belichick, who replaced the longtime head coach Mack Brown in December, quickly became one of the most intriguing scenarios before the 2025 university football season. Having never trained at the college level in any way, many wonder how the legendary NFL spirit will make the transition to a group of 18 to 22 years.
