The former saints tackle Terron Armstead announced his retirement from the National Football League in front of his teammates during a party in Miami.
New Orleans has drafted Armstead 75th in total in the third round of the NFL 2013 draft. The Arkansas-Pine bluff alum played nine of its twelve years in black and gold, winning five pro Bowl selections and an All-Pro lead in the second 2018 team.

In a statementThe director general of saints, Mickey Loomis, praised the character and skills of Armstead. “He was a player, a teammate and an exceptional friend. We are impatient to officially recognize his exceptional achievements in front of our great fans base,” said Loomis.
Former quarter of the saints Drew brees Also spoke highly about the former black and gold line player. “I could not have asked for more than one teammate during the eight years that we were together, which I am also proud to call a friend,” said Brees in another press release.
Armstead ended his career with a three -year stay at Miami Dolphins.
