By entering this offseason, there was a certain skepticism that the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay would be able to keep the recipient veteran Chris Godwin, who was one of their main threats of play since he joined them as a recruit in 2017.
His campaign in 2024 was interrupted by a horrible ankle injury, but he has always put 50 catches, 576 yards and five affected in seven games. At 29, he should have a lot in the reservoir as long as he recovers completely from his injury and does not suffer from bad effects.
However, Mike Evans, his main partner in the broad position, will be 32 years old at the start of the 2025 season. Therefore, he could be logical for Tampa Bay to write a potential successor to him.
With about two weeks before the NFL draft, the franchise should meet Matthew Golden, one of the best extensive receiver prospects this year on Tuesday.

He has only 5 feet 11 inches, but with an exceptional 40 -yarn time of 4.29 seconds, he has high speed. It has also been lit as a return specialist in the past three years and has totaled 722 yards and two affected on kicks.
