The New England Patriots have won six Super Bowl titles, but in recent years the Patriots have suffered more defeats than victories.
New England has completed four of the last five seasons with a losing record. Mike Truebel, who played the assistant for the patriots for eight seasons and won three super bowls with the team, is now responsible for transforming the formerly proud franchise.
During his days of play, Truebel learned what it took to reach great heights in the NFL. This week, the coach of the first -year patriots presented some of the expectations he has for the players.

As the NFL 2025 draft approaches, the Patriots are launching their off -season program. Certain key points of the first official address of Vrabel to the team earlier this week have been circulated on social networks.
Players will have to leave mobile phones in their personal bags.

“We all have mobile phones,” said Vrabel. “Most of you have more than one, in fact. Just leave the mobile phone in your bag. Just store the phone.”

He also wants players on time. If a player is late, Trebel asked him to communicate. But he doesn’t want it either to become a habit.
Truebel then asked players to resist pulling hooded sweatshirts above their heads during the meetings.
“We build our own identity,” said Truebel. “We are building our own team. We are building our own program. There will be things inside that that are different … And it all depends on how we return to you as well as you can be as an individual, as a player and in a team. This is all our goal, and you have to start understanding this – why we do what we are doing.”

Truebel also stressed that employees who work at the team’s headquarters are there to “help” players to succeed, but they are not the “cleaning lady” of athletes.
“They are there to help you do your job,” said Trebel. “They are not there to be your valet, to be your cleaning lady, to be your butler. You arrive where I am going to treat these people with the greatest respect.”

The Patriots and Bill Belichick agreed to separate in January 2024 after the Patriots only appeared in a eliminatory match in the Four Seasons after the release of Tom Brady.
Shortly after the departure of Belichick, Jerrod Mayo was appointed coach of the Patriots. Mayo was dismissed after the final of the 2024 season and Vrabel took over. Truebel was the 2018 Tennessee head coach from Tennessee of Tennessee and spent the 2024 season as a consultant at The Cleveland Browns.
