Sean Payton drafted Terron Armstead with the Saint-Orleans saintsAnd now Payton wants his old left tackle to lead to side by side with him on the Denver Broncos.

Armstead has not retired for a week, but he is already receiving an offer for a new career. Armstead called him on Saturday, Sean Payton called Armstead to offer him a job on Tuesday. Armstead Relaxed the story to Kay Adams To say that Payton “called me (Tuesday), and he wants me to work with him, or for him, in any way whatsoever.”

While Armstead closed Payton in the moment, he did not completely close the door by joining Payton on the sidelines. “Sean, get off from my phone”, it’s how Armstead initially reacted. He said to Adams, however, that he and Payton “should have another conversation”.

The night he announced his retirement, Armstead praised Payton And credited Payton to have helped to die Armstead to the leader he is today. This respect and this admiration are clearly a two -way street.

We do not know how much Armstead ability would join Denver. His former teammate Zach Strief is the trainer of the Broncos offensive line, so there is clearly a connection there (among others). If he decided to join the staff, it would mark the first time that the duo would be in the same team since the two left New Orleans in 2022.
